We at GroundWaves are thrilled to announce that Jill Sobule has recorded a station ID for the broadcast! Every famous artist once started out as an unknown, so we're happy to have Jill's support in our efforts to bring attention to the unsigned artists of the world.
It's been a while since we brought you anything new from Songs To Wear Pants To, so we've thrown some more of their amusing ditties into the broadcast--listen especially for "My Sister-In-Law's Ears"--true genius. You may recall that when STWPT first entered the broadcast, once of the songs that we put in rotation was the song "I Am Bjork." Well, Bjork's management got wind of it, and asked Andrew of STWPT to record a legitimate Bjork cover for a compilation project. He did so, recording "Army Of Me" with his partner Jen in their band Suture Sound, which joins the broadcast today.
