Northern Virginia's Honor By August enters the broadcast with a tight, radio-ready rock sound that is so sure to get them signed that we'll bet their tenure on GroundWaves is only temporary. In their relatively short career they've already opened for the likes of Bon Jovi, Hanson, Hootie & the Blowfish, and many others. Mark my words, it's only a matter of time before contestants are attempting to emulate Michael Pearsall's earnest vocals on American Idol and before Guitar Player magazine is printing tablatures of Evan Field's stratospheric licks. Get to know them now so that when everyone else is praising their eventual major-label debut, you'll be able to say you started listening to them way back when.
